Our school day begins at 8:40 when the gates open for children to enter the school grounds. Children in Robins should go straight into their classroom.  Snowly Owls, Flamingos and Red Kites children will meet staff on the playground and be taken to the classrooms at 8.50 am.  The school day ends at 15:30. 

Children should be at school by 8:45 ready for a 8:55 registration. Learning begins at 9:00. (Please note, if your child arrives after 9:05 the Government guidance states that this is an unauthorised absence which is what our automated attendance system records. Please ensure your child is punctual.)

Children have a morning break at 11.00-11.15 and Reception/KS1 have an additional afternoon break. All pupils have lunch from 12:15-13:15.

At 15:30 children should be collected by parents from their classrooms. Older siblings who are aged 14 or older (ROSPA and safeguarding guidance) are able to collect younger siblings. If your child is going home with someone different, please let the office know so that staff can be aware of this before the end of the day. It is best to ring or email before midday in case office staff are out of the office in the afternoon. We may ask relatives to use a code-word if they are new to us, this will be given to them by the office.
